The story was wonderful and sad but it wasn’t what you may call a masterpiece. The reason why I still liked this so much is because of all the beautiful themes that are included in the story. They can be heart-warming and at the same time heart-breaking but definitely beautiful.

【浮生六记】104到180还是那句话以现代人的观点评论古人的事是不对的，但是我还是想阐述一下我的观点。沈复是个优秀的文人，他淡泊名利，甘愿流连于丘山之间，感情真挚细腻，文风如其人清新雅致，恬静纯真。但就其人，他真的不是个好丈夫，一定程度上来说，他没上进心，以至于能让病重的妻子做真贤惠贴补家用；他没责任感，喜儿一事说到底有点始乱终弃的意味，当然了考虑古代妓女地位问题可以另当别论；他甚至有一点挥霍，啃老，我记得他在喜儿身上花了100两银子，大概折合人名币两万元左右（清末），或许现在看来不算多，可这钱不是他的。所以我觉得他的坎坷不仅仅是造化弄人和自己的性格不无关系，和社会关系更不大，这种人放在现在也很大程度上晚年艰辛。但如果不是这些缺点，他大概也会像普通人一样在官场勾心斗角，最后被历史遗忘，不会写出【浮生六记】了。
